Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking an Activities Assistant to brighten daily life for residents through engaging programs and events. You’ll help plan calendars, guide activities, escort participants, and maintain organized spaces in a caring, team-oriented setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lead small groups. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are preferred; prior senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities; valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
