Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to help run daily activities and enrichment programs for residents. You will encourage participation, assist with calendars, and escort residents between programs to ensure smooth operation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. Prior senior living experience is preferred and welcomed within a supportive team environment.

• Ability to lead small group activities.

• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
