Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to help lead daily activities, events, and enrichment programs for residents. You’ll encourage participation, prepare calendars and newsletters, escort residents to programs, and maintain organized spaces.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lead small groups, and a valid driver’s license as applicable. Prior senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs
• Encourage and support resident participation
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately
