Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Willowbrook, IL is seeking an Activities Assistant to help lead daily activities, events, and enrichment programs for residents. You will encourage participation, assist with calendars, and escort residents to programs, ensuring spaces are organized and well-supplied.

The role supports volunteer engagement, documents participation per guidelines, and communicates changes to the team. Prior senior living experience is preferred, with a valid driver's license as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver's license (as applicable).
• Sunrise Senior Living experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
