Vitalia Mentor in Mentor, OH is seeking a dedicated Resident Services Assistant to support activities and engagement for residents in a home-like senior living community. You will work with the team to deliver compassionate, first-class service and build relationships with residents.

The role is full-time with a shift of 8:30am–4:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday, located at 8180 Mentor Hills, Mentor, OH 44060. A positive attitude, strong communication, and ability to lead programs are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Experience conducting group activities and in senior housing.
• Knowledge of care and supervision requirements for residents.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and solve problems.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Leadership and supervision skills including time management and organization.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal clearance.
• Good health verified by physician health screening within 6 months and TB test clearance.
• Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping most of the day; ability to retrieve items from storage.

• Know each resident and ensure daily engagement and satisfaction through compassionate service.
• Lead and organize Resident Services events and programming to spread encouragement.
