Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant in Wichita, Kansas. You will plan and execute engaging resident activities to enhance daily life and well-being, coordinating calendars, budgets, and partnerships with external organizations.

You will support memory care and other enrichment components as needed, drive residents to events when required, and ensure safety and policy adherence in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills.
• Prefer: experience driving a 14 passenger bus.
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
