Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in West Plains, MO, seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and facilitate engaging activities that enhance residents’ social, physical, and emotional well-being. You’ll partner with residents, families, and staff to tailor programs to individual life stories and interests.

The role supports a comprehensive enrichment program under the Executive Director, with responsibilities including event planning, resident introductions, and coordination of holiday displays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, web-based platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, programs, and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to the enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Assist in resident Life Stories and assessments.
• Maintain activity attendance and family messaging in Cedarhurst’s system.
