Job summary

Goldmark Property Management is seeking an Activities Coordinator to drive engaging programs across our senior living properties. You will plan, implement and document activities that enhance resident experience, coordinate events, and collaborate with property leaders to deliver exceptional service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years leading activities, valid driver’s license, and strong customer service in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of successful experience leading an activities program. Prior experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance per company requirements.
• Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
• Ability to operate common office equipment and basic computer skills.
• Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document and lead an engaging activities program including but not limited to physical exercise, arts and crafts, entertainment, and special events.
• Create and publish a monthly activities calendar for distribution in and outside of the community.
• Provide casual leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, and etc.
• Develop a network of volunteers to assist with activities and special events.
• Daily use of customer management systems to build relationships with prospective and current residents ensuring all communication is documented.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance team members as appropriate.
• Oversee and manage the activity budget for each of their properties.
• Instrumental in the property decoration which may include but not limited to seasonal/holiday decorations; informational signs; displays of art projects. As well as the storage of said items.
• Work side by side along with leadership and support teams as appropriate.
