The Bristal in Armonk, NY is seeking a creative, compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to assist in presenting and coordinating recreational programs for our assisted living residents and Reflections Memory Care neighbors. You will help plan engaging activities, coordinate trips to venues like galleries, theaters and events, and prepare monthly calendars and communications.

The role requires one year with seniors, event leadership experience, and a warm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with seniors; dementia experience a plus.
• At least 6 months of recreation activities or event leadership experience.
• Outgoing, warm personality with genuine caring nature.
• Ability to create engaging programs and supervise activities.
• Creative talents in arts, music, readings, or dance.
• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Strong listening and communication skills; positive attitude.
• Ability to lead classes and speak before groups with ease.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate recreational programs for assisted living residents and Memory Care.
• Organize trips to art galleries, theaters, sports events and cultural activities.
• Prepare, print and distribute monthly calendars, newsletters and memos.
• Assist the Director of Recreation in program delivery and supervision.
• Maintain knowledge of resident backgrounds and interests to boost engagement.
