Job summary

The Bristal at Bethpage is seeking a creative, compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to organize and oversee recreational activities for our residents, including those in Reflections Memory Care. You will help residents stay engaged, plan outings, and share calendars and memos with families and staff.

The ideal candidate has direct experience with seniors, creativity in activities like art or music, and a warm, professional demeanor to foster a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with a senior population (Alzheimer’s/dementia a plus).
• At least 6 months of recreation activity experience or event leadership in assisted living or related setting.
• Outgoing, warm, and genuinely caring personality with ability to engage residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present recreational programs for residents, including memory care participants.
• Plan and supervise safe, engaging trips to art galleries, theaters, venues, and cultural events.
• Prepare, print and distribute monthly calendars, newsletters, and memos to residents.
