Job summary

Apploi seeks an Activities Director for Los Alamos Wellness & Rehabilitation. The role requires developing and implementing a broad range of activity and leisure programs aligned with residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs as outlined in care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area is required.
• License or registration with national or state authority is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers comprehensive activity/recreational programming.
• Performs assessments and documents resident preferences and needs.
• Completes and updates MDS/CAA sections and care plans.
• Plans monthly activity calendars and communicates offerings.
• Documents resident participation and monitors changes in condition.
• Coordinates volunteer programs and continues staff education related to activities.
