Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting is seeking an Activity Director to lead the Activity Department in a skilled nursing setting. You will plan, organize and direct activities designed to meet residents' interests and overall well-being, coordinating with other disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least three years in activities, including two years as an Activity Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years experience in Activities Department in a Skilled Nursing Facility, 2 of which must have been as an Activity Director.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Activity Department to meet residents' interests and well-being.
• Facilitate group activities.
• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance.
• Assist with activity supplies and logistics.
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities and transportation to activities.
• Assist with outings and special events.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Ensure confidentiality and residents' rights compliance.
