Job summary

Vivo Healthcare Ft Pierce is seeking an Activities Director to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the resident activities program in a long-term care setting. You will ensure activities meet residents' social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs, align with care plans, and comply with regulations.

You will schedule and supervise seven-day activity operations, tailor activities to individual residents, oversee cognitive, recreational, and ADL activities, and manage volunteer

Qualifications

• Experience directing activities programs in long-term care or similar settings.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing activities to residents.
• Ability to tailor activities to individual residents' needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the activities program seven days a week.
• Coordinate cognitive, recreational, and ADL activities for residents daily.
• Oversee transportation to activities inside and outside the facility.
• Establish and maintain a Resident Council with proper documentation.
• Perform administrative duties and staff training to ensure quality care.
• Manage the facility's volunteer program and protect residents' rights.
