Job summary

Hearthstone Senior Living is seeking an Activities Director for our assisted living and independent living communities. The ideal candidate will develop engaging programs that meet the interests and needs of residents while adhering to federal, state, local and corporate standards.

Candidates with AHCA/NCAL, NAAP, or CTRS credentials will be prioritized. The role includes planning a monthly activity schedule, arranging transportation, and ensuring accurate progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills to interact with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to read technical procedures, policies and guidelines.
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the activity program for residents.
• Maintain an engaging, resident-centered activity calendar.
• Provide timely, descriptive activity progress notes and communicate with staff and families.
• Supervise activity staff and assist in staff development.
