Job summary

Provision Living, LLC in Missouri seeks an Activities Manager to lead a vibrant resident activities program, coordinating physical, emotional, educational, spiritual, and leisure activities and assisting new residents with orientation during move-in.

You will plan monthly calendars, supervise staff and volunteers, manage the activities budget, and ensure engaging, safe experiences for older adults, reporting to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Required – Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and a minimum of 4 year(s) related experience and/or training
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university and a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
• CTRS certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and implement a monthly program of activities for residents (physical, spiritual and cognitive).
• Initiate and direct daily activity programming, including weekends and evenings.
• Develop and create a monthly calendar and/or newsletter.
• Facilitate transport of residents to/from activity programs and prepare area/equipment.
• Schedule and/or arrange resident medical and activity transportation.
• Manage Activity department budget and align with community goals.
• Assess residents’ activity needs and incorporate into care plans.
• Recruit, hire/select, and train volunteers.
• Supervise and ensure adequate supervision of residents during activities.
