Job summary

Apploi in Missouri is seeking an Activity Director to design and oversee engaging programs that support residents' physical, mental, and social wellbeing. You will lead therapeutic activities, collaborate with care teams, and help plan discharge transitions.

Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, be willing to obtain an L1MA license, and bring prior Activity Director experience in long-term care. A creative, outgoing personality is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must agree to obtain an L1MA license.
• Previous Activity Director experience in a long-term care/assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an on-going program of activities to meet residents’ interests and well-being.
• Develop, plan, and organize a program for therapeutic groups.
• Teach and facilitate the program to support rehabilitation and health.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of activity care plans.
• Assist with resident assessments.
