Brighton Post Acute is seeking an Assistant Activities Director to lead enrichment programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents in a full‑time role in Boston, MA. The position emphasizes meaningful engagement and collaboration with local partners.

The role requires planning, supervising activities, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with occasional evening and weekend coverage. Russian speakers are encouraged to apply and compensation is $22–$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or related field preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Motivate residents, staff, and volunteers; foster welcoming environment.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident services and activities preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to maintain state certifications or licenses (e.g., CDL if applicable).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading activities and enrichment programs for residents.
• Support the Activities Director with maintaining a calendar of activities and events.
• Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to enhance engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
• Encourage resident participation and tailor activities to interests and abilities.
• Assist with department operations including preparation, documentation, and supply management.
• Supervise activity staff and volunteers while promoting a positive team environment.
• Ensure activities comply with relevant regulations and safety guidelines.
• Provide support during evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
