Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning and leading meaningful activities for residents. You will promote participation, independence, and quality of life while ensuring compliance with guidelines and safety.

The role, full-time and based in Peninsula Post-Acute, involves coordinating calendars, documenting progress, and supporting events and outings with a friendly, patient approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare/long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and conduct individual, small-group, and large-group activities.
• Encourage participation in recreational, social, educational, cultural, and wellness programs.
• Support resident outings and events within and outside the facility.
• Maintain the monthly activity calendar and attendance records.
• Assist with resident activity assessments and progress notes.
