Job summary

Concord Post Acute in is hiring an Activities Assistant to engage residents with daily recreation, plan events, and support a warm community. This full-time role works 10:00 AM–6:30 PM on a 4-on/2-off schedule, at $18.00 per hour, with duties to organize activities and encourage participation.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors or in healthcare preferred
• Experience in activities or recreation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating daily activities and recreational programs
• Encourage resident participation in individual and group activities
• Organize games, arts and crafts, music, social events, and other recreational programs
• Assist with special events, celebrations, and holiday programs
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and supportive manner
• Encourage socialization and engagement among residents
• Assist residents with participating in activities as needed
• Maintain activity supplies and keep activity areas organized
• Document resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director
• Follow facility policies and promote resident safety and dignity
