Job summary

Ellore Senior Living, a premier senior living community, is seeking an Activity Assistant to organize and promote engaging activities and excursions that enhance residents’ independence and quality of life.

You will support the Activity Director, recruit volunteers, and help create a warm, inclusive environment for residents, families, and staff while ensuring safety and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Community and promoting resident participation through regularly scheduled activities and events.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
