Legend Senior Living seeks a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities, coordinating with staff to enhance daily living.

You will develop calendars, manage budgets, arrange transportation, and tailor programs to residents’ needs while upholding safety and quality standards. Strong communication and a compassionate approach are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, or lesson planning is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with outside organizations.
• Set up and clean up activities; ensure activities meet residents’ needs and preferences.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to events, including driving a company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff and adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Life Enrichment team in delivering holistic wellness and engaging activities.
