Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking an outgoing Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and run engaging resident activities. You will develop calendars, coordinate with external groups, manage setup and cleanup, and help tailor programs to residents' needs and preferences.

You may oversee a life enrichment component and coordinate resident transportation, including driving the company vehicle when required. Excellent communication with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Be willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
