Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator to lead the activity program for residents. You will design monthly calendars, oversee service plans, train staff and volunteers, and coordinate transportation for events. Some weekends may be required.

The role emphasizes engaging daily activities across physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions, with opportunities to impact residents' lives.

Qualifications

Required: 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience.
Prefer: experience leading volunteers and supervising staff.
Prefer: experience working with older adults.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Develop monthly life enrichment calendar addressing residents' physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Oversee service plans and conduct personal interviews to learn preferences and abilities.
Train staff participating in life enrichment programs.
Maintain and supervise a volunteer program.
Coordinate transportation to events, including driving company vehicles when needed.
Monitor budget, equipment, and supplies to complete the schedule.
