Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities. You will impact residents' daily lives by coordinating calendars, budgeting, and collaborating with outside organizations to enrich experiences.

The role involves driving residents to events, ensuring activities meet preferences, and potentially supervising a specific life enrichment component. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Stand/walk/bend/push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
