Job summary

LCB Senior Living's Residence at Great Woods in Norton, MA is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, develop, organize and implement engaging activities for residents. You will help create calendars, sustain volunteer programs, and support outings and transport coordination with residents and families.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in recreational therapy or gerontology preferred.
• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing and implementing activities.
• Develop ideas to improve the activities program and calendar.
• Coordinate transportation and escorts for resident outings.
• Assist with volunteer programs and store operations.
• Support monthly newsletters and activity calendars; drive as needed.
