Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring an Activities Assistant at The Residence at Paine Estate in Wayland, MA. The role supports planning, coordinating, and executing daily activities for residents, promoting engagement and well‑being.

You will work with a compassionate team to develop new activity ideas, assist with transportation, and help maintain the activities program while ensuring residents’ safety and enjoyment. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Assist in the development and implementation of activities.
• Motivate residents to participate daily.
• Creativity and motivational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs and calendars/newsletter software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing all residence activities.
• Develop ideas to improve and expand the Activities Program.
• Maintain a warm, professional relationship with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for residents to activities.
• Support volunteer program activities and residence store operations.
• Assist with monthly newsletters and calendars.
