Job summary

LCB Senior Living is seeking an Activity Assistant at The Residence at Valley Farm to support activity planning, engagement, and transportation for residents in a warm, caring environment.

Responsibilities include developing program ideas, coordinating volunteers, managing a monthly calendar, and assisting with store operations, newsletters, and events. Must be able to drive residents and lift up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing activities.
• Develop suggestions to improve and expand the Activities Program.
• Maintain a warm, professional relationship with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for residents to activities.
• Assist with volunteer programs and the residence store.
• Maintain supplies per department budget and assist with newsletters/calendar.
• Attend ongoing training and orientation; drive residents in a van as needed.
• Work independently and perform multiple tasks.
