Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an Activities Assistant for evenings and weekends at our Lynn, MA location. The role supports the Director of Activities in planning, organizing, and directing engaging activities for patients, meeting recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs within Life Care standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, prefer geriatrics experience, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and evaluating quality activity programs.
• Chart patient progress and behavior.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Visit patients individually when needed.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and positive attitude toward patients.
