The Meridian at Boca Raton is seeking an Activity Assistant to support residents' quality of life by leading daily activities with groups or individuals and assisting the Activity Director in planning engaging programs for social, mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

You will build positive relationships with residents and families, help schedule and update activity calendars, and assist with events and volunteer coordination.

• Lead by example and maintain ethical standards.

• Collaborate effectively with departmental and community peers to generate enthusiasm and execute high quality programming.
• Support planning, scheduling and execution of quality activities in accordance with community member care plans.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with community members and their families.
• Assist with community member’s special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation.
• Provide leadership and support for high quality volunteers.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.
