Sunrise Senior Living in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring joy, purpose, and connection to our residents through engaging daily programs.

You will assist in leading activities, create calendars and newsletters, escort residents to events, and support volunteer engagement while maintaining organized spaces and compliance with guidelines. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver’s license (as applicable).
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs
• Encourage and support resident participation
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately
