Job summary

Great Lakes Management Company is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support and lead a variety of programs for residents in our care facilities. You will assist the Activity Coordinator in planning, promoting, and facilitating events that engage residents socially, physically, and mentally.

The role requires strong organization, the ability to work with volunteers, and excellent interpersonal skills to connect with seniors across small and large groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of activities experience with seniors in retirement, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to use basic Windows and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Coordinator with planning, promotion, and leading events or programs.
• Assess residents' recreational and social needs.
• Support development of monthly Activity Calendar of Events.
• Lead activities for individuals and groups of seniors.
• Coordinate transportation for outside events and accompany residents on field trips.
• Work with volunteers and direct their assignments.
