Job summary

AEG is seeking a Production Manager to advance all event details for shows, lead the production team, and ensure the show runs per contract while tracking costs. The role requires coordinating with venues, talent buyers, and artists to build budgets and schedules.

You will oversee load-in/out, manage production crews and local labor, and ensure timely settlement and payments. Strong budgeting, contract interpretation, and music-industry experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• 4–6 years of related work experience.
• Experience interpreting event contracts and budgeting.
• Experience in the music industry preferred.
• Knowledge of concert production tech (staging, lighting, sound).
• Able to manage budgets and expenses.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to learn business systems.
• Previous management experience; able to work under pressure.
• Flexible to long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between venue and artist to ensure production needs are met and contracts adhered.
• Work with talent buyer/artist to tour schedule, build offers and show budget.
• Collaborate with venue to ensure all show needs are addressed.
• Solve production issues that arise during the show timeline.
• Develop relationships with artists, crew, and venues for smooth execution.
• Set and track a workable show budget within spending limits.
• Oversee load-in/load-out and manage local labor vendors and payroll.
• May handle show settlement and ensure payments to artist and venue.
• May hire local labor, rentals, and other show needs as directed.
• Potentially manage production at other locations on request.
