Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Sr. Production Engineer who thrives at live event production, broadcast operations, and platform engineering.

You’ll be hands-on from pre-event planning and encoder configuration to real-time troubleshooting during live streams and post-event analysis, ensuring flawless technical delivery for company-wide events. The role requires 5+ years in live production, deep problem-solving under pressure, and hands-on experience with streaming protocols (RTMP, NDI, SRT) and

Qualifications

5+ years in live event production or broadcast engineering.
Hands-on experience with professional streaming platforms and encoding hardware/software.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in real-time during live events.
Experience coordinating with AV vendors, IT, and event teams.

Responsibilities

Live Event Operations: Execute live streaming for company-wide events; operate encoders, streaming servers, CDN distribution, and player deployment.
Pre-Production Planning: Design streaming architecture for multi-location, multi-channel events; test encoders and failover processes.
Post-Event Operations: Publish VOD with captions and metadata; conduct post-mortems and generate analytics.
