Job summary

NEP Group in New York seeks a senior AV technician to lead live, hybrid and broadcast event delivery. You will operate audio consoles, video switchers and lighting, ensure high production standards, and coordinate IT systems for complex events.

You will work with Yamaha QL5, Shure ULXD, Ross, Avolites Titan, Crestron and Dante, partnering with event organisers and mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in live event production and AV operation.
• Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting and streaming tech.
• Experience with event IT systems, networking and platforms.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple technical aspects.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate Yamaha QL5 for live sound reinforcement.
• Configure Shure ULXD mic system and mic-up speakers.
• Manage Dante networking and PowerPoint presentations.
• Use Ross Touch Drive for video switching and playback systems like Tessera/Tria.
• Direct camera operations with Sony PTZ and program Avolites Titan lighting.
• Coordinate hybrid/remote events via Zoom and Teams.
• Liaise with event organisers to fulfill AV requirements and ensure safety.
