Job summary

Creative Technology Ltd. is seeking a Senior AV Technician to oversee live, hybrid and virtual event technical delivery. You will manage audio, video, lighting and IT systems, liaising with organisers to meet AV requirements and maintain high production standards.

The role demands hands-on expertise with Yamaha, Shure, Ross, Avolites and Sony equipment, strong networking knowledge, calm under pressure and clear communication. On-site leadership and collaboration with junior staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven live event production experience and AV operation background.
• Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting and streaming tech.
• Experience with venue and corporate event productions.
• Proficient in IT networking for event delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple technical aspects under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience supporting live, hybrid and remote events.

Responsibilities

• Operate Yamaha QL5 console for live sound reinforcement.
• Set up Shure ULXD mic systems for clear audio.
• Mic high-profile speakers and monitor sound quality.
• Use Dante Controller for audio networking.
• Manage PowerPoint and presentations during events.
• Operate Ross Touch Drive for video switching.
• Oversee playback with Tessera and Tria.
• Direct camera operations with Sony PTZ controllers.
• Program Avolites Titan lighting for events.
• Manage Zoom, Teams and streaming platforms for hybrid events.
• Create Zoom webinars as required.
• Coordinate AV with organisers and stakeholders.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and risk assessments.
• Prepare equipment and spaces ahead of events.
• Provide on-site leadership to junior staff.
• Support post-event reviews for improvements.
