Job summary

Gateway Studios LLC is seeking an experienced Audio Technician Level 3 to lead complex live sound and studio projects. You will oversee planning, setup, signal routing, and on‑site supervision of junior staff, ensuring flawless audio quality across events.

The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, system design input, and mentorship, with responsibility for safety, documentation, and continuous improvement in fast‑paced environments.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in audio engineering or related field.
• Familiarity/Certification with Dante or other audio networking protocols (Milan/Ravenna).
• 4–6+ years of experience in live sound, studio recording, theater production, or AV support.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure complex audio systems for live events and studio productions.
• Set up, operate, and strike audio equipment including consoles and wireless systems.
• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and provide training.
• Troubleshoot advanced audio issues in real time and adjust sound.
• Coordinate with Directors of Audio and touring crews to execute detailed audio plans.
