Job summary

Confidential Employer, a respected California law practice based in Calabasas, seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join our team handling sophisticated matters in litigation, business and real estate.

You will work with private companies, investors, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals, manage litigation from start to finish, draft pleadings and negotiate settlements, with hybrid in-office and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California and Federal court procedures.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with business, commercial, real estate or corporate matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Advise clients on business, commercial, and real estate disputes and transactions.
• Negotiate settlements and business agreements.
• Prepare and review corporate governance documents and related legal documents.
• Develop legal strategies aligned with clients' objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while working with the legal team.
