Jobot in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling personal injury and medical malpractice matters. You will manage discovery, case organization, pretrial preparation, and ensure accuracy of litigation documents, working closely with a team of attorneys and support staff.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative without awaiting every assignment.

Formación

• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, including discovery procedures, deadlines, objections, and deposition processes.
• Hands-on experience preparing matters for trial, including witness lists, exhibit lists, motions in limine, and deposition materials.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work accurately under deadlines.
• Excellent written communication, document formatting, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, and electronic case management tools.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, maintain, and manage litigation case files, documentation, and case information.
• Prepare, organize, and respond to written discovery requests and responses.
• Monitor important case deadlines and help ensure compliance with applicable court procedures.
• Prepare and organize trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit lists, motions in limine, deposition materials, and other pretrial documentation.
• Collaborate with attorneys on case preparation, discovery strategy, and litigation readiness.
• Maintain accurate case information and documentation across electronic systems.
• Coordinate with junior paralegals and other team members to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Participate in collaborative trial preparation, including preparation of trial binders and related materials.
• Review documents for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency.
• Anticipate attorney and case needs, proactively identifying and addressing outstanding items.
