Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal in the Chicago Loop is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a full-time, permanent role with hybrid/WFH flexibility. The position offers a 40-hour workweek and competitive compensation ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities include trial preparation, Bluebook cite-checking, eDiscovery work with Relativity, drafting and filing pleadings, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and vendors to meet deadlines and court rules.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of litigation experience in a law firm.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Support trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness files, deposition coordination, and trial binders.
• Conduct Bluebook cite-checking and assist with proofreading and formatting of briefs and filings.
• Utilize Relativity and other eDiscovery platforms to manage large-scale document reviews, productions, and data analysis.
• Assist attorneys with drafting and filing pleadings, including initial pleadings, motions to compel, mediation summaries, and other case-related filings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain case files, dockets, and deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel regarding discovery, scheduling, and case logistics.
• Provide trial support and assist with deposition preparation and witness coordination.
