Job summary

Foster Garvey PC in Seattle seeks a Senior Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years' experience in commercial civil litigation to join our team. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a hybrid work arrangement after 60 days in the office and requires occasional overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of litigation experience in state and federal courts or agencies.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with e-discovery processes and document management.
• CLE participation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Develop case background, including interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and document productions in physical and electronic formats.
• Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document review, privilege logs, and productions.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit lists, witness files, and courtroom presentations.
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and court appearances; coordinate with opposing counsel and court personnel.
• Assist with electronic discovery (e-discovery) processes and litigation support software.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
