Job summary

Aston Carter in Seattle is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a hybrid role supporting a large technology company. You will assist senior paralegals and attorneys with litigation tasks, drafting various commercial agreements, and managing e‑discovery and document retention in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with a global legal team, use Hanzo for discovery, and work with Coupa, Slack, Google Suite, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of post-school paralegal or legal support experience with a strong litigation background.
• Hands-on experience with the administrative side of litigation, including document retention, legal file organization, and e-discovery processes.
• Experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters, ideally with in-house experience; law firm experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely support to senior paralegals, attorneys, and sourcing professionals across the legal department.
• Collaborate with other paralegals on litigation and contract matters.
• Handle medium to high complexity projects with accuracy and deadlines.
• Draft a variety of commercial documents under supervision (e.g., Statements of Work, MSAs, NDAs).
• Support attorneys with litigation tasks and overflow work.
• Manage the administrative side of litigation and document retention.
• Oversee e-discovery processes and organize discovery materials (Hanzo).
• Perform file management and document tracking for the global legal team.
• Prepare and track documents using Coupa, Slack, Google Suite, and MS Office.
• Communicate clearly with attorneys, paralegals, and stakeholders.
• Maintain poise under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to a growing legal team of 20+ professionals.
