Job summary

Littler is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys in all stages of litigation in a hybrid role based in Boston, MA or Providence, RI. The position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving skills.

The role offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage, with a schedule of two days in office per week and a focus on document handling, deposition support, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Solid understanding of litigation processes and issues; trial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MA and/or RI state court proceedings and Federal courts; court procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, LiveNote, Relativity and other litigation support tools; Trial Director preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial case review to assist attorneys’ evaluation and draft pleadings; manage client documents intake.
• Coordinate discovery process; draft requests/responses; supervise production and document review.
• Coordinate deposition process; schedule lay and expert depositions; prepare outlines and exhibits.
• Create and manage litigation support databases; oversee document imaging and search workflows.
• Assist with factual investigations; conduct public records searches and review records.
• Support trial preparation; assemble exhibits and trial binders; draft motions in limine and witness lists.
