Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. in Boston seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years in a law firm. The role includes case file management, document preparation, and ECF filing while coordinating with local counsel and the Litigation Docketing Department.

You will schedule depositions, assist with expert reports, handle client inquiries, and support pre-trial and trial logistics in a hybrid Boston office. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a litigation paralegal in a law firm.
• Experience with patent litigation is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case management and file organization for new matters.
• Prepare and format documents, exhibits, and filings; liaise with local counsel.
• Electronically file court papers and monitor filing rules.
• Notify LDD of new matters and share documents as needed.
• Schedule depositions and manage transcripts and errata.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist with reports.
• Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries.
• Support pre-trial planning, trial logistics, and on-site needs.
