Job summary

CA Paralegal in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks a litigation paralegal with experience in Arizona state and federal courts to join a small, elite plaintiffs’ practice. You’ll work primarily for one attorney and a nurse consultant, handling client management, pleadings, discovery, and medical records.

Job description

We are a small, elite, low-volume, plaintiffs’ medical malpractice and personal injury law firm in Phoenix in need of a litigation paralegal with experience in Arizona state and federal courts. We offer a low-key, relaxed, enjoyable collaborative environment where you will be working primarily for a single lawyer along with a nurse consultant. We value quality work and precision over speed and volume. We offer salary and benefits at the upper end of the scale commensurate with experience, including bonuses based on individual and firm performance, generous PTO, health insurance, 401(k) with match, and standard, but reasonably flexible hours.

Prior medical negligence experience is preferred, but not required. Spanish speaker a plus. Strong communication skills, along with the ability to identify and initiate tasks with minimal supervision, are required. Duties include client management, preparation and filing of pleadings, discovery and other legal documents, medical records management, docketing, scheduling, and light office work largely in conjunction with our professional, outsourced office management vendor.
