Qualifications

• 5+ years as a litigation paralegal, plaintiff PI preferred.

• Excellent organization and deadline discipline.
• Clear written communication and good judgment.
• Proficiency with case management software and MS Office.
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.

About the Firm

Our client is an established, growing plaintiff personal injury firm with a busy Phoenix office. They handle cases from pre-litigation through trial and are known for litigating files rather than just settling them. This is a confidential search; the firm will be named once there is mutual interest.

The Role

The firm needs a seasoned Litigation Paralegal who can run a caseload with minimal direction. You'll work directly with trial attorneys to move files from complaint through discovery, mediation and trial. Staying ahead of deadlines and keeping the file trial-ready is a core part of the job.

What You’ll Do

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, disclosure statements, subpoenas and routine motions
• Calendar and track all deadlines under the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure and local rules
• E-file and serve in Maricopa County Superior Court and other Arizona courts
• Request, organize and summarize medical records and bills; build damages summaries
• Schedule and prepare for depositions, IMEs and mediations
• Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists and witness materials, and support attorneys at trial
• Keep clients updated on case status with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain accurate, current files in the firm's case management system

What You Bring

• 5+ years as a litigation paralegal, with plaintiff personal injury strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Arizona civil procedure and state court e-filing
• Hands-on trial preparation experience
• Strong organization, with a track record of never missing a deadline
• Clear written communication and good judgment about when to elevate
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
