Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in our Newark, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of law firm experience with a strong litigation background and be comfortable handling complex legal documents, court filings, and trial preparation.

This position requires superb organization, independent work, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of law firm experience in a litigation environment.
Experience with Federal, State, and Bankruptcy Court e-filing.
Strong knowledge of legal document preparation and litigation support.
Proficiency with the listed software and tools.

Responsibilities

Provide daily administrative support including calendar management and mail handling.
Prepare, edit, and format legal documents per firm standards.
Handle document comparison, conversion, cleanup, and formatting using Litera Compare.
Prepare and submit electronic filings in Federal, State, and Bankruptcy Courts.
Assist with service of legal documents and maintain organized case files.
Prepare Tables of Authorities, Tables of Contents, hyperlinks, briefs, and bookmarked PDFs.
Enter and edit attorney time entries and assist with expense reports and billing activities.
Support attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders.
Coordinate travel and restaurant reservations as needed.
