Job summary

Career Consulting Partners is partnering with a large plaintiff-side litigation firm seeking an experienced Litigation Employment Attorney in Portland, Oregon, or nearby. The role focuses on wage and hour disputes, discrimination, FEHA claims, and complex class actions.

You will manage active caseloads through discovery, motions, and court appearances. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of civil litigation experience and an active Oregon license, with strong writing and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of civil litigation experience in Oregon.
• Experience handling wage and hour disputes and class actions is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional legal research and persuasive writing skills, courtroom presence, and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Represent employee clients in state and federal hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct comprehensive discovery, take/defend depositions, and manage motions.
• Draft pleadings, motions for class certification, oppositions to summary judgments, and appellate briefs.
• Collaborate with trial teams to drive strategy in wage/hour and class action litigation.
• Travel for hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
