Job summary

Venable LLP is seeking a Litigation Docketing Senior Analyst to provide comprehensive litigation calendaring services to the firm's regional offices and the main office, overseeing calendaring processes and QA to minimize missed deadlines. The role requires at least four years in docketing, extensive knowledge of court rules nationwide, and strong analytical skills.

The candidate should be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF tools, and have experience with docketing software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in docketing or litigation calendar management.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules and procedures nationwide.
• Ability to compute deadlines and maintain accurate calendars with QA checks.

Responsibilities

• Independently calendar firm litigation, bankruptcy and agency matters and all related deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with calendaring procedures, best practices, and department processes.
• Maintain deadlines, events, and docket entries; produce reports and analyses.
• Research agency, court and judges' rules and interpret them for attorneys.
• Respond to requests regarding calendared events, court procedures, and filing processes.
• Coordinate training on docketing systems and protocols; support project work within the department.
