Job summary

Arnold & Porter is seeking two Senior Litigation Docket Clerks to join its New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco offices. The role provides critical docketing, e-filing, and administrative support to the Managing Attorney, Managing Clerk, and department staff.

The Senior Docket Clerk will interact with attorneys and firm leadership, ensuring professional, responsive client service. Evening hours and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three years of litigation experience.
• Experience with docketing/calendaring systems preferred.
• Experience with electronic filing systems including Federal CM/ECF.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the docketing system with filings and deadlines.
• Provide e-filing support through PACER/CM/ECF and others.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date litigation dockets.
• Provide administrative support to senior staff.
• Prepare, proofread, and distribute departmental communications.
• Create and maintain department-wide files, databases, and libraries.
• Process invoices for submission to Finance & Accounting.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
