Job summary

Arnold & Porter’s Managing Attorney’s Office is seeking two Senior Litigation Docket Clerks to join its New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco office. This role provides crucial docketing, e-filing, and administrative support to the Managing Attorney, Managing Clerk, Assistant Managing Clerk, Docketing Coordinators, and the broader department.

The Senior Docket Clerk interacts with attorneys, firm leadership, and staff, bringing professionalism, responsiveness, and client service to every task.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Experience with docketing/calendaring systems (Milana, eDockets, CompuLaw, MA3000) preferred.
• Experience with federal CM/ECF and California courts is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the firm’s docketing system with filings and deadlines.
• Provide e-filing support through PACER/CM/ECF and other filing systems.
• Assist in maintaining accurate litigation dockets.
• Provide administrative support to senior attorneys and the office.
• Prepare and distribute departmental communications, reports, and documents.
• Create and maintain department-wide files and databases; ensure data accuracy.
